Mik’s Food Scrapbook: Turner Field

The first food item we got at Turner Field was Braves Ice. It is basically just the Liberty Ice red, white, and blue Dippin’ Dots flavor renamed Braves Ice because it is also the team’s colors. I got it for myself, but Mik stole quite a few bites and enjoyed them while I was buying the stickers for the car and Dad was holding the helmet with the Braves Ice.

When we came into the park Mik noticed they had stands with Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade cups. He loves those and always gets them at Disneyland, so he really enjoyed having one at the Braves game.

The other food item Mik got at the first Braves game we went to was a hot dog. He was not impressed with it at all. He thought the hot dog bun tasted like mustard even though Dad only put ketchup on it. It was not the worst he has had, as he actually finished it, but I think that had something to do with it being nearly the end of the game and Dad was not going to get him anything different.

At the second Braves game we went to (Maddux’s number retired one) Mik tried the Chick-fil-a Chicken Sandwich. I knew he did not like their chicken strips from past experiences, but I did not remind him because I thought the sandwich would be different. Turns out it is just as bad in his opinion. He did not even eat half of it before giving it to Dad to finish. He did like their waffle fries, though.
